The new Kendriya Vidyalaya for Kurungkumey District has been cleared by the centre, this was disclosed by the Chief Minister Pema Khandu in his speech during the launching of third leg of Arunchal Rising Campaign in Koloriang on Tuesday. MoS Home Kiren Rijiju, local MLA Pani Taram and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion. .
Chief Minister on the occasion dedicated the Paniasang administrative circle, 2x500kw Payu MHS, district museum, district court, Chera Talo district hospital, office of the superintendent of police, mega water treatment plant, working women hostel, rural works department sub-division at Patuk and Govt Secondary School at Nikja. He also laid foundation for an Industrial Training Institute and fire station.
Chief Minister in his public speech commended the appreciable work done by the local MLA in his tenure and assured that after the new government is formed after the 2019 election to conduct the first development meeting here. He further assured to take up all public demands for infrastructure development in the Kurungkumey district such as Advanced Landing Ground, mega hydro at Kuru River, multipurpose stadium and a ring road for Koloriang town with promise to fulfill it as early as possible.

Chief Minister on the occasion said it is our responsibility to take Kurungkumey district ahead in all development sphere. He said due to lack of infrastructure development in the district, there has been wave of migration of population towards state capital Itanagar for want of better living conditions. He said in coming days the state government will give development push in the district in such a way that it will stop distress migration and will start reverse flow of migration towards the district.
Chief Minister on the occasion also took note of the regular absence of heads of department, government officers and officials from the district. He requested the deputy commissioner to take strict disciplinary actions against such erring officers.
Chief Minister also on the occasion promised to raise honourarium for Gaon Burahs, ASHA workers and Angandwadi workers by bringing the matter in the cabinet for discussion. Further he promised to create more number of teachers posts exclusively for SSA teachers for their batch wise regularisation. He said the state government had earlier created about 400 teachers post for SSA teachers.
