Jan Sampark Abhiyan has been started under the banner of Arunachal Rising campaign- Pema Khandu
Chief Minister Pema Khandu arrived at Nacho on Tuesday on his maiden visit here accompanied by MoS Home Kiren Rijiju for the launch of third leg of Arunachal Rising campaign.
Speaking at a public function, Chief Minister said people of Arunachal are largely unaware of govt programmes and policies and hence they fail to avail benefits from such programmes.
He said to bridge the gap between the government and the people, a Jan Sampark Abhiyan has been started under the banner of Arunachal Rising campaign.
He said the campaign has covered all parts of eastern district and is currently covering the central and western areas of the state.
He said under the campaign, Sarkar Aapke Dwar has been launched and the deputy commissioners have been carrying out the outreach programme to inform the people about govt policies and programmes including providing on spot services to the people.
He said till date more than 3 lakhs beneficiaries have benefitted from the SAD camp. Chief Minister said due to rigrous campaign under SAD camp, more and more people are now aware of the govt policies and programmes.
He said the purpose of the government is not to work in close doors but to provide maximum benefit to its people by reaching out to them.
