Arunachal: AAPEMWA demand action against illegal Earthmovers

All Arunachal Pradesh Earth Movers Welfare Association (AAPEMWA) appeal the state government and district administration to banned the illegal Earthmovers rampantly involved in the earth cutting which is damaging the ecology as well as causing the landslide .
Talking to Arunachal24, AAPEMWA President Likha Ekha informed that there are hundreds of earth movers, excavators, dozers, backhoe loaders, Tiperss are operating in different parts of state and specially in capital complex without paying prescribed local taxes to the state government. Some of them are not even registered and many of them do not possess permission for earth cutting.
In a complain letter submitted to EAC/CO Itanagar, Naharlagun and Bandrdewa Ekha said that many of them even are operating even without valid licence from the state government or district administration and are depriving the local earth movers business of the state.
He said that the pathetic road condition of various road during the monsoon are known to everybody and movement of such heavy Earthmovers on the roads also damaged the road carpet and smoothness.
Meanwhile capital Deputy Commissioner Incharage Talom Dupak earlier have issued an order to the District Transport officer and EAC/Co concern of all area of capital complex to check all such illegal earthmovers plying and involved in rampant earth cutting.
Acting on the issue Naharlagun EAC cum Executive Magistrate Hento Karga on May 25 have issued strict order for banning of illegal earth movers which are not registered with the concern authorities
Meanwhile AAPEMW have appeal the administration and Police for a lawful action against such defaulters.
Capital SP Sagar Singh Kalsi said that strict action will be initiate and direction have been issue to all police station of the capital complex to act upon the defaulters.
