Arunachal: BMS celebrates National Labour Day

The Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) state unit today celebrated National Labour Day here at Nyikum Niya Hall today in befitting manner.

Addressing the workers BMS National president Adv C K Saji Narayan and BMS NE incharge N Tomba Singh, threw light on Lord Bishwakarma and significance of day especially for working class and highlighted the importance of the labour community in building a society.

State BJP president who is  also MP from Arunachal Pradesh East Constituency, while addressing the gathering informed about the central and state government schemes like Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) & Chief Minister Arogya Arunachal Yojana (CMAAY).

He said that both the initiatives of Central & State Govt. respectively, with a vision to accord quality and cashless health care services to the people of the State and urged workers to enroll themselves under this scheme and avail the benefits .

A large number of people from all walks of life attended the function., including state BMS president Yasi Nalo Sonam, Deputy Speaker Tesam Pongte, APB&OCWWB chairman Jalley Sonam and other senior leaders of the organisation and dignitaries attended the celebration and addressed the workers community.

Several programme which include cultural extravaganza and discussion and discussion on strengthening of workers community for nation building.
