Pani Taram appeals  public to become willing partner of police

Police are people friendly and working for maintain of peace and tranquillity stated Parliamentary Secretary ( Home & Education) Pani Taram. Taram also appeal the people to become willing partner of police in maintaining of safety and security of state and its people.

Taram stated these after a review meeting with the top police officials of the state.

The meeting discussed the law and order situation in Siang, the NEEPCO issue, the firing at Changlang wherein one civilian was killed,  Pasighat, TLC area issue, traffic related issue of capital complex, codtc of check naka every day at various places of capital complex, Inner Line Permit checking at Banderdewa and Hollongi and Gumto, other important issue pertaining to law and order issue of different parts of state.

DGP, Sandeep Goel and IGP (Law & Order) Nobin Payeng brief about all issue one by one and other issue pertaining to law and order, working of district police, few important cases one like  of Bameng wherein DSP Late Bomto Kamdak was killed, East Kameng and Kurung Kumey district police related issue and others were discussed and exchanged the suggestion and direction Taram.

Taram on behalf of people of capital complex and on his own behalf felicitated the capital police chief Dr. A Koan for his team work in cracking the case of attack on Director of Audit & Pension at D Section, Naharlagun and arresting of all four members of the gang with arms and sent to jail.

He provided a commendation certificate and also requested the DGP to felicitate all the team members of the police team who led to solve the case within very short time.

Further while talking to arunachal24,  Taram said that he have given direction to top police official to conduct vehicle checking continuously, book defaulters without consideration of his/her affiliation, and try to manage the security of the state capital fit and fine so that the people remain feel happy with the arrangement. He also said that he have directed the DGP to alert all ranks of Police of state to remain alert and vigil in case of natural calamity and disaster due to torrential rain and monsoon in different parts of state.
