Newly Constructed Shri Shiv Mandir Dharamsala dedicated to the late Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu at the premises of Shiv Mandir near Power House, Tawang was inaugurated today by the Tsering Tashi, MLA Tawang . in the presence of HoDs, public leaders and various devotees of the Mandir.
Speaking on the occasion, Tsering hailed the noble efforts of the Shiv Mandir committee and declared it as one of the kind in the district. Terming it as an inspiration for others to follow, he assured of his full cooperation in all their noble endeavours. Further, he thanked everyone behind the successful completion of this venture and called it one of the most pious and beautiful way of paying tribute to his late father.
Late CM who had immense respect for all religions had lent a great helping hand in the Construction of Shiv Mandir at Power House.
Dharamsala which presently has six rooms is basically meant for providing shelter to the poor and needy including the sadhus at a minimum rent.
