Itanagar: RGU extends date for submission of documents for MA admission

The last date for submission of documents for verification in Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) for an admission in MA first semester has been extended upto August 5 as per the latest notice issued by the authority.
As per the urgent notice issued by the Joint Registrar (Academic) –cum- Convener RGU Entrance 2019, David Pertin, the notification of selection list which was scheduled to be notified on July 31 has been put on hold until further notice.
It also stated that individual email to the candidate, whose documents for verification is being sought, shall be intimated through email by the concerned departments/institutes/ centres.
Earlier there was a lot of hue and cry as many students who have cleared the RGU entrance exam could not submit their original mark sheets on the stipulated date due to a delay in issuing of original mark sheets from North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong.
The Arunachal Students’ Union Shillong (ASUS) also submitted a representation today seeking for extension of date for submission of documents for verification.
