Arunachal: Land encroached at AIR Tezu campus- Room, boundary wall constructed
According to a police report, land of the AIR campus in Tezu has been illegally encroached , Room, Boundary wall has been erected.

Illegal land grabbing practices of government land has been still widespread in the Tezu township; this came in to light when team of Tezu Police made physical verification along with Land and Revenue Settlement Officer (LRSO) team at the Old station of All India Radio near Tezu Khola as per the complaint lodged by Anand Miyi Programme Executive AIR.
According to inquiry report submitted by the police to Deputy Commissioner, the police and the Land Management department found one SP Type is being occupied where one room is made store and other poultry shed. Four numbers of concrete pillars in front of the quarter is erected. A boundary wall in connecting to the wall of the quarter is witnessed. At the back of the quarter attached bathroom is build exposing complete encroachment of the AIR quarter.
Meanwhile, Miyi alleges overall 2,880 Square meters of land at Tezu Khola site has been encroached defying all AIR order served earlier.
Miyi also informed that “he has made several correspondences since 2010 to the Additional Director General (E) Guwahati to look into the uncontrolled encroachment of valuable land for the future growth of the station, Unfortunate it was fallen into the deaf ears, the Miyi further rues
