Arunachal Elections: Cabinet Minister Nabam Rebia denied BJP party ticket

Nabam Rebia, Cabinet Minister of Arunachal Pradesh and sitting MLA from 14 Doimukh Assembly constituency who denied of BJP party ticket will not contest assembly election 2019.

Addressing a huge gathering on Thursday Rebia said that “we both Tana Hali and two another candidate applied for party ticket and two names were send for approval at New Delhi and the name of Tana Hali was approved  but I could not get party ticket. Even if I could not get party ticket I shall remain in the BJP and continue to serve the people even if I am not MLA or MP. Rebia said.

I don’t want to change the party, and will continue to work for the party. he said.

He shows his serious concern on destruction of his property recently and wanted that the government need to investigate the matter thoroughly, I have no fault of being the chairman of JHPC on PRC and all the report were prepared which was send to assembly for a broader discussion, however the matter could not reflected and the state government scrapped and the chapter once for all. He observed.

He inform that the JHPC on PRC was there since many years back under the chairmanship of Late Jarbom Gamlin and Takam Sanjoy and I do have carried the  work after due consultation of all members and visited several places and meeting etc. Several condition and provisions were there and first it was for broader discussion in the assembly, but the issue was politicised and three precious lives have been lost. He said.

He said that my personal property was attacked and completely damaged and demanded investigation.

He wish best of luck to the BJP candidate and said that though he did many developmental works for the people of Doimukh assembly constituency in particular and state in general requested Tana Hali to carry forward all developmental work and unfinished works in the greater interest of the people if he is elected.

BJP candidate from Doimukh Tana Hali who was also there on the occasion said that he will work sincerely for the people of the constituency and party workers and all other activities.
