Arunachal: Awareness programme on rise of rampant child labour

The women Helpline 181 (WHL) and One Stop Centre (OSC), run by Oju Welfare Association, in coordination with the interns of different Universities of India, organised an awareness programme on rise of rampant child labour and child harassment or molestation, sexual harassment.
During this awareness program , a skit on ‘Child Labour’ is organised in Oju Mission School, Papu Nallah with the objective to sensitise the young ones to protect them from unwanted social atrocities as they are the future pillars of the nation.
The event aimed at generating awareness about child labour, good & bad touch, and Stranger dangers besides to help ‘Let them learn,not earn’.
Trainer Miss Chera Nukuyu spoke about good & bad touch and Stranger dangers, Toko Dopin spoke about Childline 1098, while Tarh Naki briefed them about Women Helpline 181.
Interns Pema Dorjee Dinglow, Bomter Basar and Jeli Ceplas Camdir also played vital roles in the event to create lasting impression on the minds of the kids.
