Anemia screening camp organized to mark the “Rashtriya Poshan Maah” by Itanagar urban ICDS project.

Continuing the month long celebration of “Rashtriya Poshan Maah” w.e.f 1st to 30th, the Urban ICDS project, Itanagar organized Anemia Screening camp on Wednesday at Govt. Secondary School, Chimpu.
Around 155 Adolescents girls and women were screened and required advises provided.
Beside Anemia Screening, screening of NCDs, sensitization on Anemia, Menstrual hygiene, Nutrition for Adolescent girls, awareness on Good touch and Bad touch, sexual harassment and Women Help line was organized by inviting resource person from PHC Chimpu and Women Help line.
The camp was organized in convergence with the Department of health and family welfare and Chimpu PHC Incharge Dr. Sorang Tabin along with Dr Alung Gyati and other staffs of PHC Chimpu conducted all the screenings.
