Arrunachal: three day mass social service on TAH concludes

The three day mass social service on Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) from Tai border point of Upper Subansiri to Bame around 42 Kilometre in Tiribin-Bassar concludes.

Parliamentary Secretary Land Management  and MLA of Bassar-Tirbin assembly constituency  Gojen Gadi appeal one and all to contribute labour for cleanness and hygiene in their respective area to remain healthy, fit and fine with sound mind and remain free from disease.

Gadi was addressing the local residents, former PRI members, HODs, local officers and senior citizens who participated and successfully completed three day mass social service on Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) from Tai border point of Upper Subansiri to Bame around 42 Kilometre in Tiribin-Bassar Assembly Constituency.

Gadi while lauding the contribution of physical labour by the members of Gumin Rago Society (GRS) senior citizens, officers and HODs, former PRI members and locals said that the ‘swachh bharat mission’ is a mindset which we have to adopt to live in cleanness with hygiene, the change of mindset will itself give us lots of good feeling and happiness if we are living in a clean and green sounding.

While talking to Arunachal24  from Bame Point Parliamentary Secretary Gadi said that social service conducted this time is a unique and first of its kind in the area ever held. On his appeal and request the people in hundreds in numbers come forward for the social cause as the said stretch of road in pathetic conduction and there was urgent need of repair and maintenance, maintenance could not be carried out at this juncture but minor repairing have been done with the help of 4 JCB, 4 Tractors, 1 folk land, 6 Tippers and more than two hundred local people which include women, officers, former PRI Member, GBs, HODS and workers of working department.

The social service which kick started on June 21 from Tai area culminated today at Bame in first phase. The meeting have also chocked out programme for second phase which shall began from Bame and would be culminated near Rilu Village in Darin Circle on both side of road measuring around 35 Kilometre on Likabali-Aalo road. Gadi added.
