Arunachal: Yachuli farmer sells organic guava worth of Rs 1.5 lacs in a day
Selling his product in a pick-up truck, grower and progressive farmer, Likha Maj informed that more than 1400 kgs of guava were sold today

The first harvest of Yachuli organic Guava, a product of Green Gold Group, reportedly fetched around Rs 1.5 lakhs today here at capital market, Naharlagun.
Selling his product in a pick-up truck, grower and progressive farmer, Likha Maj informed that more than 1400 kgs of guava were sold today and said another load is on its way from Yachuli.

‘I have planted 50000 unit guava plant of three varieties, and now the reap fruit is giving us taste and energy for a good health. This is a organic fruit and being sold to the open market like myself which would be a motivation and inspiration to upcoming farmers and youth of the state. He said we should not feel shy to carry out any work for the development of state and people.
Joint Director Horticulture, Tage Tatung said that the dept has supported technical know-how to Likha Maj and said support will be given to all interested progressive farmer who will carry such kinds agri-horti activities for economic sustainability for the farmer and the family and for self employment.
All Arunachal Pradesh Consumer Cooperative Federation, chairman Toko Kach who happened to be one of consumer, encourage Maj and lauded his hard work which go a long way to inspire the youth and educated unemployed youths to opt for self employment in agri-horti allied activities.
