The District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex Prince Dhawan vide an order has made the new traffic arrangements in Itanagar-Naharlagun route.
The vehicular traffic coming from Naharlagun to Itanagar should take route through Jully as one way from 7 AM to 7 PM.
The vehicular traffic from Itanagar to Naharlagun is allowed through NH415 as one way from 7 AM to 7 PM.
Further, the NH415 from Itanagar to Naharlagun shall remain closed for traffic w.e.f. 7 PM to 7 AM till 31/03/2018.
The order was issued after it was reported that due to earth cutting carried out by the Highway authorities for widening of NH415, one portion of NH415 near Bucho Motors, Naharlagun has been damaged.
The order further stated that the Highway Authorities are on war footing manner to restore the said portion of NH415 and it is expedient to restrict entry of vehicles to avoid public inconvenience and early restoration of the NH415.
