BSF apprehended Four Cattle Smuggler

Border Security Force BSF troops of Guwahati Frontier, today, apprehended four notorious cattle smugglers from the riverine area of Hathichar in Dhubri district, while they were engaged in smuggling activities.
These smugglers were apprehended, from the riverine border, by troops of BOP Hathichar, while they were illegally trying to cross the International Boundary. During preliminary questioning they confessed to their involvement in the illegal crime and revealed that they were basically couriers while the actual owner of the cattle was Md Shaidur Shaikh, resident of South Salmara, of Mankachar district.
Two mobiles with Indian SIM cards were also recovered from them. The apprehended persons along with the seized items have been handed over to concerned agencies for further disposal.
