Arunachal: RGU student shines in International Conference

Altogether, 130 researchers participated from all over India amidst 9 well known Indian scientists and foreign delegates as plenary speakers.

Nyaton Kitnya, a PhD scholar from Department of Zoology, Rajiv Gandhi University has been awarded as the winner of oral presentation/best oral presenter at International Conference on “Recent Advances in Animal Sciences 2019 (ICRAAS – 2019)” held at Pachhunga University College, Aizawl, Mizoram, India from 6 to 8 November, 2019.

Altogether, 130 researchers participated from all over India amidst 9 well known Indian scientists and foreign delegates as plenary speakers. She presented her work on topic “Note on Distribution and Ecology of the Himalayan Giant Honey Bee Apis laboriosa” an important pollinator which plays a significant role in food security.

 Ecstatic with the result of the competition, the Joint Registrar (Academic & Conference) of RGU Dr. David Pertin appreciated Nyaton Kitnya for making the University proud and opined that RGU’s students are in the right orientation and have the dedicated earnest towards achieving their research targets and boasted that the university has high potentiality in the field of research.
