The world tourism day celebrated across the state. The main function which organised here at state capital was observed in befitting manner.
Addressing the gathering Minister (Tourism and Tax & Excise) Jarkar Gamlin said that the day is being celebrated across the globe to remind us that the tourism have now grown up to a big industry and it is a source of sustainable development and many country now depend and growing with promotion of tourism industry.
Tourism has developed into an important sector that can deeply impact the overall development and economy of country if used properly it can also add to the overall have huge impact on overall development of state. this year the day is celebrated in different approach calling the topic ‘ tourism digital transformation’ travel industry also fully dependent on the tourism.
This year all stake holders have been invited to participate which include photographers, showcase of the local cousin depicting local tradition and culture of state, poetry performances, live painting, painting competition, photography exhibition, poetry recitation, merchandise stall, presentation of souvenir, artist, students, persons attached with art and literature. All have been asked them to deliver their view and suggestion, talks including their performances which can expertise other in the tourism sector.
Earlier promos of various festivals of Arunachal Pradesh which include Papum Poma river festival, Tawang festival, Mechuka festival, Orange festival, Ziro music festival, festival of Arunachal Pradesh, Basar confluence and other were screened which were like by the audience.
Secretary Tourism Sadhna Deori, Director (Tourism) Kento Danggen amaong other also address the gathering.
All Arunachal Pradesh Transport Federation (AAPTF) President Dobing Sonam, All Arunachal Pradesh Tours Operator Association (AAPTOA) President Paney John, Ast. Director (Tourism) Bengia Mana Sonam among other were present and take part in the all activities.
The programme was organised by the department of Tourism in collaboration with Arunachal Literature and Art festival at DK Convention hall.
