The Capital police arrested four persons and recovered 10 stolen two-wheelers from them . The accused were hail from Balijan area .

The Capital Police has recovered 10 stolen two-wheelers including 3 bikes and 7 scooties. This includes 2 KTM bikes. 4 persons have been arrested in this connection.
Informing this the Capital police chief M Harsha Vardhan said that all of them hail from Depra village of Balijan area.
4 other juveniles have been given police notices for possession of stolen two wheelers. This good work has been done by the team of SI Nishant, OC Itanagar Bage working under supervision of SDPO Itanagar Dekio Gumja.
Vardhan said that the success was possible due to enhanced patrolling in Itanagar and adjoining areas. Two boys were caught indulging in suspicious activity during night patrolling. After interrogation it was possible that the entire gang was caught and stolen vehicles recovered.
Capital Police is constantly working on reducing the vehicle thefts in the district. There is a rising trend of juveniles being involved in cases of vehicle theft which is very disturbing.
He appeal the vehicle owner to keep their vehicle safely and lock it properly.
He also said that the citizens equally need to be remain alert so that few cases of thief can be checked and reduced simultaneously.
