Hailstorm and Tornado killed two in Changlang

Chief Minister have expressed shock and sorrow on the demise of one young girl and a female child due to collapse of house caused by hailstorm and tornado under Dayun circle at Changlang District of Arunachal Pradesh today. He condoled the death of two lives at Changlang due to nature’s fury.
It is reported that a 16 year old girl, Kala Thaki and another one and half year female child, Siji Chakma have lost their lives when the house collapsed due to hailstorms and tornado like situation at Dayun Circle.
He announced an ex-gratia relief of Rs 4 lakhs to the next of kin of the deceased family as per relief norms of the govt. and instructed the Deputy Commissioner, Changlang to initiate the process immediately.
The govt have also sent report to the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding the incident and prevailing situations in the state.
