Body of a young boy found near Api Colony, Nirjuli at around 5 AM lying on the road side today.
SDPO, Naharlagun Make Bui informed Arunachal24 that that there is no injury mark on any part of body but the Nirjuli Police have completed its formalities and suspected to be a case of strangulation.
The post mortem have been done at TRIMS and body have been handed over to the family members for conducting last rite.
The victim was identifies Tarh Katung, aged around 28 years a resident of Mowa village in Kheel area of Toru Circle.
A case at Nirjuli PS have been registered vide No-52/17 u/s-302 IPC and investigation is on, Bui added.
Meanwhile Tarh Welfare Society (TWS) have deeply condole the ‘sudden demise of Tarh Katung son of Tarh Eryu.
In a release TWS General secretary Tarh Tarak claimed that the victim was brutally murdered by some unknown goons last night at Nirjuli near Tata dealer.
Sources from close family members reavel that he along with his friends were together late night and it is suspected that late Katu must be murdered by his friends.
The society condemn this gruesome murder and have lodged a FIR at Nirjuli police station today urging the concerned police officials to take up the case immediately and nab the culprits at the earliest.
TWS also raised concerned that the law and order situations of capital complex is detraining day by day and such incidents are taking place almost every forthright.
