Arunachal: Wakka Wancho Football Championship 2018 kicked-off

The Wakka Wancho Football Championship 2018 was kicked-off on 16th January 2018 at Circle Headquarter Wakka under Longding District. The Tournament has been organised by 16th Assam Rifles under the Command of the Wakka Post Commander Capt. Ajay.
The Soccer Championship is being organised for the Youth of Wakka Circle to imbibe the sense of friendship and to motivate them to have co-ordial relations with the Forces. This Championship also aims to promote the Youths towards Sports. The total of 10 villages under Wakka Circle participated with lot of enthusiasm.The hundreds of spectators witnessed the following knocked out matches among the different villages.
CHOP beat LONGKAI by 6-4,
CHONGKHOW beat KHOGLA by 3-2,
NGISSA beat KAIMOI by 3-1.
The Wakka Student Leader Mr. Nokchop Pansa actively supported the Army Personnels to organise the Tournament with full encouragement to the Youths. He also thanked the 16th Assam Rifles Capt. Ajay for providing the eatables items like 20-KG rice to each village, and other requirements free of cost.
