Arunachal: Voluntary donation camp for Milang fire victims
Voluntary donation camp being held at Gandhi Chowk, Pasighat in aid of Milang village fire victims.

In aid of recent fire victims of Milang village under Mariyang Sub-Division in Upper Siang District, an NGO named ‘Woodlanders’ is organizing a three day voluntary donation camp at Gandhi Chowk, Pasighat market from 22nd to 24th Oct’19.
Appealing the people to come forward and donate in whatever capacity.
“We will open the sealed donation box at the village of Milang in front of fire victims and administrative officers after donation completes on 24th next. We are doing this voluntary donation program to help and show solidarity with the people of Milang village in which total of 19 houses were gutted down completely while remaining 4 other households damaged in the attempt to stop further spreading of the fire”, informed of Woodlander’s activists.
Meanwhile, as per ex-ASM of Milang village (Ringkiong), Tosu Litin, the Geku- Mariyang MLA Kanggong Taku, Mebo MLA cum CLP leader of Congress party of Arunachal Pradesh, Lombo Tayeng, Ex- Geku Mariyang MLA, Olom Panyang and Adi Baane Kebang President, Er. Getom Borang all have also visited the fire victims of Milang village today and extended their best help and solidarity with affected families who are homeless now and living a miserable life in huts.
Mebo MLA Lombo Tayeng extended handsomely with donation of Rs. 2 lakhs for the fire victims so that villagers could sustain their lives. Anying Boli of Yingkiong also donated a handsome sum of Rs. 1 lakh to the fire victims.
It is to quote back that, a major fire accident at Milang village under Mariyang Sub-Division in Upper Siang District on 18th October last total of 19 houses were gutted down to ashes completely out of 23 house village which is some 12 KM away from Mariyang Sub-Divisional Headquarter.
