Arunachal: Sarkar Aapke Dwar held at Luguthang, situated at 14000 ft

The Sarkar Aapke Dwar was held at Luguthang Village which is one of the most interior village in Tawang dist of Arunachal Pradesh situated at 14000 ft with total household of 10 families. This was the third Sarkar Aapke Dwar and Jan Sunwai camp of Tawang for the year 2019-20.
Luguthang is one of the most remote village not connected by road. The team of officers and officials from district administration started their journey early morning of 27th of Nov, by vehicle upto Thingbu Hydel, and reached Luguthang village on foot crossing hostile mountain footpaths in very cold temperature after nine hours.
This morning the SAKD camp started with villagers asking for Medicine and Veterinary doctors. Senior medical officer from Jang Dr. Rinchin Neema attended around 60 patients of all age including one pregnant lady. Children under 5years of age and the pregnant lady was given necessary vaccination.

The administrative officers EAC Thingbu, Pemtan Monpa and Circle Officer Sang Norbu prepared and issued 04 nos of ST certificates, 03 PRC and 02 birth certificates, while JE APEDA Nawang Tsering Bapu distributed around 50 nos of LED bulbs to the villagers.
Taking optimum benefits of this camp the villagers who are mainly yak herders took Senior veterinary Doctor Thupten Tashi, to attend sick livestocks and given treatment and required medicines. The villagers were also made aware of various welfare schemes launched by the State and central government.
The team members are expected to reach back headquarters by tomorrow afternoon.
