Chief Minister Pema Khandu has extended greetings and best wishes on auspicious occasion of Holi, the festival of colours to the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
In a message on eve of the religious festival that marks the end of winter and beginning of spring, Khandu said, “Holi, celebrated every year, symbolises the triumph of good over evil.
On this festive occasion, I appeal my fellow citizens of the state to prevail with truth and remember that evil will always lose at the end of the day. Let’s embrace the good and desist all that’s bad.”
While urging all, irrespective of religious affiliations, to join the celebration of colour without which, he pointed, life would be so dull.
“Holi is also the day to forgive enemies and let go of grudges. Let’s forget and forgive and begin a new era of friendship, brotherhood and bonhomie.
Let Holi set off a new and vibrant Team Arunachal, devoid of any enmity, and take our beloved state on a new path of peace, progress and development,” Khandu added.
