Arunachal: JDU organises rally demanding re-poll in Soki polling station
17 members from the Daporijo JDU unit also submitted a representation to the Returning Officer (RO) cum District Election Officer (DEO).

Showcasing strong resentment over the infringement of adult franchise at Soki polling station of 24 Daporijo Assembly Constituency, the Janata Dal United (JDU), Daporijo unit today organised a rally and protest before the DC office demanding fresh re poll in Soki Polling Station .
17 members from the Daporijo JDU unit also submitted a representation to the Returning Officer (RO) cum District Election Officer (DEO) alleging infringement of adult franchise in the Soki polling station on April 11, 2019 during General Assembly and Lok Sabha election, there of demanding fresh re poll.
The representation letter also stated that, BJP workers did not allow a group of 17 voters from the JDU party to cast vote on the day, also threatened the voters and warned not to complain about it to the election authority.
Daporijo JDU party also said that the party has made declaration in the office of Judicial and Executive Magistrate, Daporijo about the incident where his voters were not allowed to vote.
