Arunachal: Capital DC visits OWA, assured support for special children

Capital Deputy Commissioner (ICC) Himanshu Gupta visited Oju Welfare Association (OWA) and took stoke of various integrated schemes being run under one roof.
Gupta interacted with the staff of Women Help Line (WHL) and took first hand information on the functioning of WHL and also went through few cases, he also interacted with few children there.
It is to mention that WHL and One Stop Center are administered by DC, ICC itself. He also interacted with the children’s of Child Care Institute (CCI). He also meet with the special Childs of Specialized Adoption Agency (SAA) and assured to look into the issues being face in catering those children needs. He also meet with all the women inmates of Swadhar Greh. Further he also visited various vocational units run within the complex.
Among others Administrative officers from Naharlagun and Itanagar, EAC Hengo Basar, OWA Chairperson Ratan Anya, WHL Manager Yachu Bini were present on the occasion.
