Arunachal: ACWS conducts cleanliness drive in TCC of TRIMHS

The Arunachal Cancer Welfare Society (ACWS), led by chief patron Domin Loya, chairman Yomdi Sora & member-secretary Bomya Kamduk, conducted a cleanliness drive Cancer Tertiary Centre (TCC) of TRIMHS here on Saturday.
Besides ACWS members, Indian Medical Association Arunachal state branch members Dr Hage Soni & Dr Todak Taba, led by honorary GS Dr Jego Ori, Galo Students’ Union members led by GS Mepe Ete also joined the drive.
TCC in-charge Dr S Tsering, head of department of radiation and oncology, appreciating the drive said that the ACWS members have been collecting blood for patients, taking them for treatment to Mumbai and Delhi for better treatment besides offer quality food stuffs. But this drive is laudable, he added.

The ACWS members have been mobilizing funds to help patients voluntarily themselves, Loya said, adding it has been decided to food once every month to all patients from September next. He sought support of like minded people to join hands to help their own people.
