DA for Arunachal Government Employees increases from 4 to 5 %

Government of Arunachal Pradesh by a office memorandum No- FIN/E-11/07/97 Dated October 17 2017 issued by Finance Department have ordered for dearness Allowances payable to state government shall be enhanced from existing rate of 4 % to 5 % of the basic pay per month with effect from 1st July 2017.
The order was issued in pursuance to Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure vide order OM No, 1/9/2017-E-II (B) dated 20/09/2017.
The DA shall be paid to the employees in cash, to be credited in the bank account with salary drawl. The revised rate will be made from the existing budget provision of the department concerned in the current financial year of 2017-18.
The revised rate will only be applicable state government employees and will not to apply to private/non government institution receiving grant-in aid from the state government. the order said.
Meanwhile Deputy Secretary (Finance) Dani Pyaro said that a separate order also have been issue wherein the dearness Relief (DR) for the pensioners of the Arunachal Pradesh state government have been increased from 4 % to 5 %.
He said that the disbursement amount have been worked out by the budget department and employees as well as pensioners will be benefited.
