Namsai- crèche room for the children of women working at District Secretariat inaugurated
The crèche room has colorful slides, soft toys, tricycles, children basketball, see saw sets, a swing set, a trampoline and children’s cots for taking naps

Deputy Commissioner Namsai, Dr. Tapasya Raghav, in the presence of officers and staffs inaugurated a crèche room for the children of women working at District Secretariat, Namsai today. Deputy Commissioner stated that this crèche is to facilitate those women working in the secretariat so that they can work freely without being worried about their children.
She also stated that 3 (three) ALCs will be deputed in the playroom to take care of the children. The crèche room has colorful slides, soft toys, tricycles, children basketball, see saw sets, a swing set, a trampoline and children’s cots for taking naps.
The women officers and staffs in the secretariat were very much delighted with the initiative of the DC and were very happy that they can now bring their children with them to the office.
Meanwhile the State Govt yesterday had announced budget allocation for crèche facility in the civil secretariat and in district headquarters which is a very welcome step in order to ease the lives of working women in the state.
