Kokrajhar- ABSU Indefinite Hunger Strike, Second day

The Second Day of ongoing indefinite hunger strike programme organised by the All Bodo Students Union ABSU, NDFB (P) and PJACBM for the creation of Bodoland State and Political Rights of the Bodos living outside proposed Bodoland, where thousands of people from many corners are taking part.
The program which was held yesterday near FCI godown, JD road was shifted to Kokrajhar Govt. Higher Secondary and Multipurpose School ground due to pouring of incessant rainfall.

Mr. Pramod Boro, President, ABSU, Dhiren Boro, Chairman, NDFB (P) and Mr. Rakesh Boro, Chief Convenor, PJACBM including dignitaries of the organizations and 1111 members, where 17 women are also in the indefinite hunger strike.
Mr. Pramod Boro, the President, ABSU in his speech slammed the present government both at the Centre and state of Assam for showing indifferent attitude towards solving the problems of Bodo and other indigenous tribes of proposed Bodoland state.

The BJP promised both written (manifesto) and verbal that they would resolve the Boro problem immediately if they could come to power in New Delhi. They were voted to power and their regime in Delhi has completed three years now. However, the fact is there is no initiative to execute their promise in reality. They have halted the very continuity of dialogue, which apparently means the regime is not willing to resolve the problem.
