Pare Project downstream welfare committee (PPDWC) after a marathon discussion on various issue pertaining to the grievances of the people living in the downstream of the Pare Hydro electric project in Doimukh circle have decided to go with 12 hours bandh called on December 28 in the area.
In a press communique issued by its Secretary General Domibg Taba and IPR Secretary Nengbia Zeekam, alongwith a intimation letter addressed to Deputy Commissioner Papum Pare district, said that all activities of NEEPCO will remain suspended.
Taba while talking to media said that we have been invited by DC Papum Pare on January 4 next and further course of democratic movement will continue if the demand are not meet.
