what is called the lawlessness in state capital and the man in uniform arrested again and again. This is the third case that the IRBN personnel arrested owing to severe charges against them. He committed crime while wearing a mask.
Capital SP, Dr. A Koan while talking to arunachal24 said that an IRBN personnel have been arrested in connection with Naharlagun Police Station case no 181/16. Since the case was under investigation since then and a breakthrough was made after the mobile which was robbed got reactivated and a trap was made wherein the said IRBN personnel was arrested.
He said that it is a case of robbing a shopkeeper at gun point by wearing mask last year, since the case was under investigation under IO SS Jha, the arrest was made possible basing on the call detail and different sources he added.
The IRBN personnel have been identified as Sitap Chader s/o Late Tobin Chader of 5th IRBN and was deputed in Security Cell and was attached with MLA.. The accused have been arrested u/s-386 IPC r/w 25 1 (B) & (A) of Arms Act. a robbed mobile handset, 9 mm service revolver with 12 round of cartridge were recovered from his possession SP said.
SP further said that the departmental action against previous two IRBN for dismissal of their service is underway and the department will take its own course of action.
