Home Minister Bamang Felix today informed that Hamara Arunachal Abhiyaan (HAA) will be officially launched on October 2 at IG Park, Itanagar to commemorate the 150th Birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, while addressing on the official launching of HAA website in the presence of DGP R P Upadhaya, Capital SP Tumme Amo, and Police Officers at Officer Mess, Ganga SP capital office here.
The Cabinet on September 17 formally approved the Hamara Arunachal Abhiyaan, a campaign that will collaborate with CBOs, common public, PR leaders, Youths, student organisations, transport organisations, market welfare organisation etc. and take up various issues like drug addiction among youths, communal harmony, traffic management and many more to interact and learn from the people about its effects in their lives.
HAA is an initiative with ‘Chalo Banaye Behtar Arunachal’ with an effort to make Arunachal Pradesh better a 360 degree campaign that targets to educate and eradicate the evils of modern society.
Minister Felix said that the website has got different platforms to reach the campaign throughout the state.
He further stated that it is an innovative initiation to attain CM Pema Khandu’s aim to bring transformation and reformation in the state through innovation.
“Till now we have engaged expertise for the HAA mission but from today police officers and police personnel has to be involved into it,” he added.
