A Personal Security Officer (PSO) of a VIP commit suicide today morning with his service pistol.
Capital SP M Harsha Vardhan informed Arunacha24 that the Capt. Techi Ramesh Tara son of Techi Tajap of 4th IRBn who was deputed as PSO for security of former Deputy Chief Minister Kameng Dolo, today committed suicide by killing himself by his .9mm service pistol at a private resident at Polo Colony at around 7 AM.
Late Ramesh who is a resident of Model Village here was earlier was posted with Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein before present place of posting and recently he joined there, the decease hail from Gumte Village of Seppa under East Kameng district.
A UD case No-16/18 u/s 174 CrPc has been registered at Naharlagun police Station and Investigation Officer Inspector T Tali have been deputed for further investigation in the matter.
The body have been handed over to the family members after conducting all formalities for last rites at their native village.
When asked about the reason for suicide, Vardhan said that it was family matter even investigation is being conducted to ascertain the reason for committed suicide, he said that he shot 1 bullet in his head but succeed to injury at TRIHMS here, SP added.
