Cash seizure continue in state, During the last two days police sized over Rs 14 lakh in Pasighat and Seppa .

The seizure of cash and violation of model code of conduct is receiving from different parts of state even after enforcement of model code of conduct (MCC) .
After Itanagar, Pasighat Police have seized a cash of Over Rs 13 lakhs in two days drive against MCC. Pasighat police seized Rs 11,11,200/ one Tuesday while Rs, 2,50,000/- on Wednesday.
SP Pasighat inform that police is for the safety and security and working for law and order in the area. No one should carry hard cash more than Fifty thousand without any proof and justification or it will be sized and the people have to face inconveniences.
However Capital Police chief Tumme Amo inform that intensive checking continue in and around capital complex. 20 nos gun deposited, 11 nos of posters banners and other defacement removed. Motor vehicle checking also continued. ILP checking continued with night patrolling also being done.
He inform that as per information a cash of Rs, 1.8 lakh have been seized by Seppa police in East Kameng district.
On the other hand Rs 13,00,000/ out of Rs 15,60,000/ seized by Capital police on the night of 12/13 Feb has been taken over by Income Tax Dept today as per guidelines of ECI/CEO.
