The government of Arunachal Pradesh has announced one day “State Mourning” on 24th May as a mark of respect to the departed soul of Late Tirong Aboh, MLA Khonsa west constituency.
Late Aboh along with 10 others was killed in an ambush by suspected NSCN militants in Tirap district on Tuesday.
The National Flag will fly at half mast throughout the state and there will be no state function on day of mourning. It has also been decided to provide Gun Salute during the Funeral by Arunachal Pradesh Police along with the other courtesies by the district administration, It was mentioned in a official circular issued by Chief Secretary, Govt of Arunachal Pradesh.
