Arunachal Governor hosted ‘At Home’ with School Children on the eve of Republic Day
On the eve of 70th Republic Day of India, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.), hosted an ‘At Home’ on the Raj Bhavan for school children.

On the eve of 70th Republic Day of India, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brig. (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.), and his wife Mrs Neelam Misra hosted an ‘At Home’ on the Raj Bhavan for school children from different schools of the Capital Complex Itanagar on 25th January 2019.
Reflecting their empathy for the school children, the Governor hosted the programme to facilitate the young children to enjoy the special occasion of Republic Day.
The Governor and Mrs Neelam Misra interacted with the children and gave them their good wishes. They exhorted them to study hard and play well.
At the initiative of the Governor, the troops from various Regiments of the Indian Army and the students from Rajiv Gandhi University, Rono Hills, National Institute of Technology, Arunachal Pradesh and North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology, Nirjuli presented colourful cultural programme for the viewers.
The highlight of the programme was the sublime atmosphere of patriotism and the extensive display of the National Tricolour.
The students from Donyi Polo Mission Schools for Hearing and Visually Impaired, Chimpu, Primary School, Raj Bhavan and Primary School, Birup Colony, Itanagar attended the programme along with students from other Government institutions.
The programme concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem.
