Much to the delight of Parsuram and Chowkham inhabitant, of late re-carpeting of 56 km NH – 52 has been completed bringing traffic movement smooth.

The road once dotted with potholes and water logging was worried for both pilgrims and the inhabitant of Wakro, Medo and Chowkham area but fortunately has received cheer in their face after fresh carpeting of the much awaited road.

The road from Brahmakund to Chowkham partly in Lohit and Namsai district being looked after under 48 BRTF Udayak and 1444 BCC Jengtu unit have been putting much effort to ensure better road condition for smooth vehicular movement.

 “Amid much hardship of rainy weather condition and various unforeseen hurdle we could able to complete the road.

The road is also in top priority for upgradation and survey work for double lane is in offing due to its strategic and pilgrimage importance”, informs PR Bandhu OC 1444 BCC.

According to 1444 BCC sources 17 Km stretches of road from Dimwe to Tohamgam are black topped and towards 15 Km Brahmakund road is in offing  and would be completed by November next.
