Arunachal: 10 days ultimatum on TAH issue

The TAH Land Affected People’s Forum Kamle District & Upper Yachuli (Ziro to Bopi) today served a 10 days ultimatum demanding immediate re-verification of the stretch of road in the Kamle district and rest portion of Lower Subansiri district.
The forum in a press conference at the Arunachal Press Club here today demanded immediate re-verification and display of beneficiaries list from Ziro 12 km to Bopi, at the DC office, Kamle, within 10 days.
The forum also threatened to stage phase wise Kamle district bandh call if their demands are not met.
The forum’s president Dinesh Maga said that since the scam involves the entire 157 km stretch of TAH from Potin to Bopi, the corrective measures should also be undertaken for the entire stretch.Re-verification of the stretch from Potin to Ziro Anya Gate only is injustice towards them, he added .
Meanwhile, the forum has demanded the state government to immediately arrest all the officials involved multi crore compensation scam who were also a part of land verification process for making false and fabricated reports and handing over the matter to the CBI for investigation.
If the Raga local MLA is so concern about the genuine public issues then he should have come forward and support the public in getting justice, organisation secretary said.
