Arunachal Assembly Passes street vendors (Repeal) Bill 2018

Arunachal Pradesh legislative Assembly passed the Arunachal Pradesh street vendors (protection of livelihood and regulation of street vending) (Repeal) Bill-2018 on the last day of the 15th session of the sixth legislative assembly which shall pave the way to carry forward the works of the street vending by the state government through the legislation.
Minister Inchareg of Urban Development, Housing and Urban Local Bodies Nabam Rebia said that it is in concurrent list of the centre and at the same time we need for a legislation.
He said that it was brought from 1st May 2014, it was adopted through a notification and the bill introduced by the GOI was introduced in House will pave way for its activities properly and smoothly.
Japu Deru, Bomdila- said that it is an important bill, though it is new for us but it is implemented in urban area of the country. It is like a medicine for the street vendors livelihood.
