Sagalee- Phurpa inaugurates two days mega health camp

Parliamentary Secretary Health & Family Welfare Phurpa Tsering today inaugurated two days mega health camp organised by District Health Society, Yupia in collaboration with Directorate of Health Services, APDA and IMA Arunachal Pradesh Unit.
Addressing huge gathering at Community Hall of Mini Secretariat Sagalee Phurpa appreciated the health dept officials for organising such mega camp where more than 40 doctors and other para medical staffs were present. Such mega health camp will also be organised in other parts of state which would directly benefit to the people of rural area. He assured for providing of an ambulance at Sagalee
He also assured to support infrastructure develo0ment of other PHC in Mengia, Leopariang etc.
He contributed a sum of rupees Three lakh to the landslide victim of Laptap while two lakh to organising committee for various arrangement during the two days programme at Sagalee.
Former Chief Minister and Sagalee MLA Nabam Tuki said that since due to severe landslide/flood and communication bottleneck he people of the area could not reach to Itanagar and Naharalgun and such mega health camp is really beneficial to the masses which was a public demand. Tuki appreciated the health department it was a timely intervention in the need of the hour. He requested for providing medical ambulance in various PHC of the area with sufficient infrastructure.
He appeal to conduct such mega camp in different parts of state wherever it is necessary in nature fury period.
APDA President and Joint Director Health Dr. Emi Rumi, ADC Sagalee Jalas Pertin, DMO Tasso Kampu also spoke.
Screening of ENT, Eye and all types of health ailment with all types of blood test were also done. The dignitaries also check up their health including blood test at the camp. Free medicines were distributed to the patients.
