Zingnu Namchoom inaugurates APST Bus station

The Parliamentary Secretary-Planning, AR, Personnel& Training, Chau Zingnu Namchoom,on Saturday inaugurated the newly constructed APST Bus Station at Namsai in presence of R.K.Sharma, DC Namsai and host of Govt staff and public.
While inaugurating the New Bus Station at Namsai Town the Parliamentary Secretary hope that it will serve the commuters in this newly created district.
He further emphasised on creation of more facilities like pay & use toilet, potable drinking water, resting shed and widening of roads near the Bus stand to accommodate the increasing demand of Namsai after becoming district HQ.
Deputy Commissioner Namsai directed the Station Superintendent to submit the further requirements immediately and also directed the EE PWD to the start work for widening of the road.
Later in the day, Chau Zingnu Namchoom also laid the foundation stone of “100 Bedded Boys Hostel” at Govt Higher Secondary School Namsai which is funded under centrally sponsored Ms DP scheme of Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt of India.
Earlier Namchoom along with DC and Head of Dept also visited the ongoing construction sites of Multipurpose Cultural Hall and VKV School building and directed the EE PWD to complete both the works within current financial year.
