Traffic snarls in twin capital city Itanagar and Naharlagun have assumed such alarming proportions that people are suffering for not being able to reach their office on time or finish important work for reaching heir destinations late.
A senior govt official couldn’t attend his departmental meeting after he got stuck in traffic jam in between twin capital city.
The ever-increasing traffic jam in between Itanagar and Naharlagun is causing immense problems for commuters.
“It has been a horrible experience so far due to the ever -increasing traffic on the route connecting Itanagar and Naharlagun .
As for in Itanagar ” The pathetic road condition on capital complex have irk the commuters these days as only few roads which connects several sectors/colony remains good in condition.
Locals denizens who are the worst sufferers spoke to Arunachal24 that neither the four lane NH-415 is worthy nor the sector roads are good and worthy for smooth drive.
People of this capital city are compel to use the roads which are full of potholes, muddy or flooded with rain water because there is no good and active drainage system is existing in all over the city.
Itanagar resident believes that from time to time, the assurances given by the ministers and the officers to get road repairs, but it was only promises, never fulfilled.
Some peoples also complaint that due to laying of communication cable, water pipeline either by the department or individuals dug out and damage the roads.
The resident of capital city appeal the state government and capital district administration to intervene into the matter and urgently repair the roads .
The citizens of twin capital city appeal the state government and concern PWD department and Capital district administration to immediately direct the concern contractor to take up the construction work on war footing of F & G Sector bridge near Ganga, culvert construction at ESS Sector in Itanagar, bridge over river Pachin, bridge over pachin near helipad and bridge over pachin at Model village, road from Papau nallah to 0 Point Tinali via DPVB in Naharlagun.
