Chowna Mein inspected the Police Stations at Sille-Oyan and Ruksin

Deputy Chief Minister, Chowna Mein on Monday inspected the Police Stations at Sille-Oyan and Ruksin in East Siang District . As the compound of the Police Station at Sille-Oyan is in danger of encroachment due to absent of boundary wall, Mein assured to provide fund for construction of Boundary wall of the Sille-Oyan Police Station. He asked EE PWD Pasighat Division to submit an estimate for the construction of the boundary wall of the PS immediately.
Mein also inspected the Police Barracks of the Ruksin Police Station near Assam-Arunachal boundary which is in dilapidated conditions. As it was informed that the proposal for renovation of the said Police Barracks has already been taken up in the State Annual Development Agenda (SADA), he said to discuss the matter with the Home Minister.
However, he directed EE PWD to start the renovation work immediately as the conditions of the building was found to be not conducive for the human stay. Currently, 20 Police Personnel stay in the building.
Dy CM was accompanied by Tatung Jamoh, Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture, Kaling Moyong, MLA Pasighat, Tamiyo Tatak, DC and Pranav Tayal, SP Pasighat among others.
