Assam: East Zone Inter University Tennis Tournament for Women begins

The East Zone Inter University Tennis (Women) Championship under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities (AIU) hosted By Royal Global University (RGU) from 5th to 7th of November 2019, was inaugurated today.
The program was initiated with a customary flag hoisting ceremony by Angira Mimani, Registrar and Prof (Dr.) S.P Singh, Vice Chancellor, RGU. Chief Referee Shiv Kumar Prajapati along with Umpires, for the Tournament, Harjeet Singh and Karan Chauhan were felicitated respectively.
Total of 8 Universities had registered for the tournament out of which 5 are actively participating, namely; Cotton University, Jadavpur University, Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla University(Raipur), Bihar University and Royal Global University.
The ceremony concluded with speeches delivered by Prof (Dr.) A.K Buragohain Chairperson (Academic); and Prof (DR.) S.P Singh, Vice Chancellor, RGU.
