The 4lh consultative meeting of Sports Authority of Arunachal Pradesh (SAA) with Arunachal Olympic Association ( AOA ) and all Registered State Level Spoils Association wich was held wherein various issue related to the promotion of games , sports and sports person was discussed.
All the Presidents/Secretaries of the concerned State Level Registered Sports Associations including President/Secretary of Arunachal Olympic Association attend the consultative meeting and put forward their report card of the activities and also suggested various suggestion for promotion of their respective games and sports.
Addressing the meeting SAA Chairman Bamang Tago said that it should be our endeavor to work for promotion of games and sports as there is no dearth of talent in our tribal youths of state but need support, guidance and training.
The prime motto of the department and SAA shall be to support and provided training and education to all those talented and meritorious youths who have passed and selected at various level from block, circle, district and at state level games.
We also should make awareness at all level so that the root of the talent in rural area also come up at the selected and targeted area and can avail the benefit of the sports policy of the state government.
The sport is growing in state under the able leadership of Pema Khandu while many sports stadium and other infrastructure are being constructed and coming up. Several facilities are being provided to the players within the resource provided and state government now a days supporting the felicitating the winners at various levels including the medal winners at national, international and commonwealth level and other category at world label.
Several meritorious sports person have been able to get the benefits of sports policy in job reservation and many have been employed in various state government department.
He urge upon all the registered Association to motivate their executive members and work for the greater interest for promotion of games and sports in state.
SAA Vice Chairman Doni Nich in his address motivated the executive members of various organisation and appeal all to come forward and work for the benefit of promotion of games and sports in state. He assured all his support to organisation at various level and organisation as and when required.
Arunachal Olympic Association (AOA) Secretary General AK Techi, Director SAA Gumnya Karbak, Karate Association of India Presented Likha Tara, Director Youths Affairs D K Dinglow among others also address the gathering.
Power Point presentation (PPT) on annual sports activities by all concern association was also done.
