Arunachal: UBI Bank officials assaulted, case registered
FIR filed by LIkha Ekha, Recovery agent of UBI Bank branch Naharlagun a case have been registered at Naharlagun police station.

Two officials of the United Bank of India (UBI) branch located at G Extension here have been allegedly assaulted by customer today morning.
The Branch Manager L C Taye was physically assaulted today morning and when the recovery agent of the Bank Likha Ekha tried to interfere/intervene into the incident he was also physically assaulted, said in a FIR filled at Naharlagun police station.
Capital SP Tumme Amo inform that based on the FIR filed by LIkha Ekha, Recovery agent of UBI Bank branch Naharlagun a case have been registered at Naharlagun police station and investigation have been launched to nab the culprit. The matter is related to the recovery of the EMI deposit and after an heated argument the official was assaulted. He said.
He further appeal all customers not to resort such act, granting of loan and repayment is a process and system in the banks and customers should abide by the rule of law and can approach the law if any but resorting to violence will not be tolerated. SP added.
