Arunachal: BJP refutes allegations against Tapir Gao

BJP refutes all allegations levelled by AJF on it’s state president Tapir Gao. Party said that “We ( BJP) are not surprised with the various allegations on party worker or the party by any individual or group. As the Assembly election 2019 is close, such allegations were expected.”
State BJP General Secretary Jarpum Gamlin said while briefing reporters on the allegations framed by Arunachal Justice Forum (AJF) President Nabam Tagam on State BJP President Tapir Gao claiming illegal encroachment of government land at C-Sector in Naharlagun of the District Library Information Centre (DLIC), at Niti Vihar and other places.
Jarpum Gamlin called for media briefing and clarification on the part of party president on the basis of media reports filed on Thursday, here at BJP office on Friday. He also informed that as the president is out of state, he will soon give his own clarification on the issue.
Jarpum said that the allegation charged on BJP president is well established trained allegations which are a politically motivated attempt to tarnish his image. A legal Notice has been instituted by the legal councillor for instituting a defamation suit claiming Rs 10,00,00,000 Crore against Nabam Tagam on 29th of last month, he added.
He also added stating that filing PIL is not the judgment but a procedure of court.
Clarifying allegations on the structure built C-Sector in Naharlagun he said the structure is a commercial building which is in the name of his spouse. The land was possessed many years ago with the legal authorization of government while the under construction is being done by a Guwahati based company on lease basis for running of business by the company.
Gamlin said that some one is behind this and unnecessary allegation are purred in and it would not harm anymore as the government under Pema Khandu is strong enough and no political opponent can damage the image of the party and the leaders are behind Gao.
Chairman Hydropower Corporation Tungri Efa, Labour Board Chairman Jalley Sonam, APSSB Chairman Kenyir Ringu among other were present during the press briefing.
