Like previous year, “The University Football Championship 2019” has been kicked off on 13th September 2019 being organised by Rajiv Gandhi university student union.
The Rajiv Gandhi university is the one of lone central university of Arunachal Pradesh which Every year conduct this tournament in the beginning of Academic year. Team from various departments, Employees Association, Teacher Association, Engineer wing and Scholars taking part in this tournament.
This year also Rajiv Gandhi university student union being organised the events. There are 15 team participating in this event from various departments. The matches are playing on league match basis.
The event was inaugurated on 13th Sep which will be continue till 21st Sep, 2019. The first match was played between physical Education and Anthropology. The Anthropology team has lost with 0 and Physical Education won with 5 goal.
Sanjay Richo AGS RGUSU cum Organising Chairman, Dari Tayang Organising secy, Hillang Susu Games and sport secy. are monitoring the entire event.
