A show on the theme “Incredible India”

The 16th Annual Day of BSF Senior Secondary School, Shillong solemnized on 18th June 2016 at NEIGRIHMS Auditorium. The well choreographed and rehearsed performances by the students gave the feeling to the audience of an evening well-spent. It was a show on the theme “Incredible India”. Tagore’s musical drama ‘Chandalika’ relating the pathos of an untouchable girl who was elevated by the divine association of a Buddhist Monk, showcasing women empowerment was the highlight of the programme.

An Eve of Pathos & Melody

Bhangra, English Group song and a theme dance were the other features of the evening. The Chairman of the School, Shri Pawan Kumar Dubey, Inspector General, BSF Meghalaya Frontier, was the Chief Guest on the occasion. In recognition to their efforts during the last academic session, the best achievers in academies, sports and cultural activities were given prize by Dr. (Smt.) Manishi Dubey and the chairman.

 It is worth mentioning that BSF School in Shillong is well known for its exemplary results in academics.   Director of NEIGRIHMS Shri A.G. Ahangar was also an honoured guest on the occasion.
